A 13-watt CFL bulb is equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulb and is designed to last 4 times longer and uses only one third energy of a standard incandescent bulb. If every home changed just one light to an energy efficient CFL, we would save enough energy to light few million homes and prevent greenhouse gas emissions equivalent to those from million cars.
